My Art Classes and Courses are designed to take you step-by-step through a subject allowing you to progress at your own pace. Most are suitable for absolute beginners and those wanting to re-learn the basics, with all courses recommended for artists wishing to improve their craft and add to their skill levels. Each week I teach the group techniques, tips and tricks before spending time with each person, helping you to improve and enjoy your own creativity. I like to encourage everyone to find their own signature style so you feel inspired and confident to try out different techniques and find the ones that work for you… (read more below)… or…

For each course there is a list of recommended materials. For brushes I particularly recommend Rosemary & Co. - a small family business who have been making high quality brushes for over 35 years. I have asked them to put together a basic set of brushes for those just starting out (see above). Please ask to see the catalogue and the brushes I use as they are all great quality at reasonable prices and they last!

Materials are not generally included but there are always some to try and a list of what you need is provided on each course page. Courses need to be paid in full one week before the start of the course to secure your place and if you wish to cancel your place on a course at this time, a refund will only be given if your place can be filled by somebody else. If your place cannot be filled I regret, no refund will be given but as a goodwill gesture you will receive £10 off your next course. I reserve the right to move any classes online at any time if lockdown resumes or government guidelines change. If you happen to miss a session once the course has started, for whatever reason, then you can come to any Artynoon in lieu (or catch up with the Zoom recording if the lesson is online). Most sessions also include illustrated handouts as aide memoires. The Zoom courses are available to anyone in the world so you can meet your friends online even if they live miles away. At Storrington Village Hall refreshments are provided including homemade vegan cake, so let’s keep creating!
