This six-week intermediate course is for those who have already completed the Introduction to Pastels Course or are already familiar with the basics and want to continue to enhance their skills. During the classes we will explore various techniques in more depth and there will be demonstrations on how to successfully build a pastel painting including tips on how to create stunning compositions and loosen your style without losing the plot! There may be the opportunity to practise decisive mark-making working with a live model and using charcoal with pastel. Bring along any photos or artists' work that inspire you so we can discuss how you would like to develop as a pastel artist and help inspire others within the group.
NEXT COURSE: Please contact Kate if you would like to book a place on the next one.
