Many of us love animals and would like to to draw our pets, or enjoy wildlife and would love to capture birds in flight or a wild mammal in its natural habitat. This six-week course will enable you to accurately draw anatomy, then recreate the textures of fur and feathers, shiny eyes and wet noses of some of our favourite animals. Using drawing-based materials such as pencils, pens, charcoal, coloured pencils and soft pastels we will look at how different mediums can work to create styles suitable for character and movement. This course is suitable for artists who already have a good level of drawing skills and are familiar working with pastels and other drawing mediums.
